DRUG-USE AND SPATIALITY
This project was a study of the use of public space by injecting drug-users in Melbourne. The study focussed on the Smith Street and Central Activities Districts of Melbourne and was an attempt to understand the ways in which spatial structures and representations mediate perceptions, meanings and practices of drug-use. Methods involved detailed spatial mapping, spatial analysis and discourse analysis.
